Take it slow and adjust for that person. If your loved one is having trouble adjusting, we can help develop individual techniques. A: No. However, Mikki Firor is a Gerontologist, M.S., So, some clients have been reimbursed by their Long Term Care (LTC) Insurance Policy. You should contact your LTC provider to inquire. You may want to speak to your accountant about deductions for Trovato’s services.

With families and friends, our goal is to assess, create a plan, and implement the plan so that you can be confident on your own. So, the bulk of the work is up front and we provide ongoing light support until there is a shift, decline, or new challenge to work on.
A: This is a tough question. But typically, when they are not able to identify unsafe conditions and/or how to manage those safe conditions. Are they a risk to others or themselves? For example, can they identify a fire as a dangerous situation and do they know how to safely and appropriately handle the situation?
